The 2nd ODI - CWXI v WI

The West Indies won the first match rather convincingly and the Cricket Web XI have everything to play for today. Captain Langeveldt has stated that his teams will play hard and is confident of a win at Sabina Park here today.
The toss:
Bishop: The Cricket Web XI have won the toss and have elected to bat first. The pitch is flat with very little in it for the bowlers. The ball will come onto the bat nicely in the early goings, but the pitch will slow down later in the day. Hence, it may be difficult to score batting second and the spinners and medium pacers may come into play.

Our faith in our ever improving number 4 grows ! Well done tamara --> Tamara lbw b. Colleymore 81 74 6 4 109.5%

And the CW V.C had a good game ! 52 in 52 balls :) and 10 - 1 - 40- 2 got M.O.M

Eddie top and david made the early inroads, but the spinning combination of Langs lethal leggies and Lords offies caused the collapse in the w.i batting lineup

3rd ODI : CWXI v WI at Grenada

Welcome to Grenada for the 3rd ODI of this thrilling series. The series is tied at 1-1 after an impressive performance from the CWXI in the last ODI.

Today's clash did not start on a good note as the rain fell for close to 3 hours this morning. As a result, the game will be reduced to 30 overs per side and with the likes of Lara, Gayle, Powell and Cloete in the ranks, it should be a crackerjack of a match. Stay tuned!

why was it a 30 over game?
Rain.

(Actually I was pushed for time as I had to attend a funeral and I wanted to get everything sorted before I left)

It shouldn't happen again. :)
