After much deliberation and organization with the ECB, and having received clearance from the ICC, the CWBCC is pleased to announce the schedule for the forthcoming tour of England. It will be the team's first tour of England since 2005 (Season 2), when it was defeated 3-1.

The tour boasts three first-class fixtures in addition to 4 Tests, with the opening game against Ireland in Dublin. The one-day fixtures include two 50-over tour matches and a Twenty20 fixture against a Masters XI. Following 3 ODIs against England, the CW XI will play one apiece against Ireland and Scotland.

The tour, hopefully a successful one, will be the longest tour in recent times for the CW XI.

Looks like a good tour, would have liked a 5 Test series and Twenty20 fixture. But looks like a long hard tour already. Hopefully Flintoff can pull something out and become fit again. Should be a big test of Wilson to see where he is at.

cant wait. This will be a big tour. We have been relativley seuccesful recently, so its crucial we continue this good form and prove we can play away from home aswell

Wouldn't mind finding some OD bowling form right about now (the funk soul brother).

Test squad of 15 very close to being named. One player's position up for discussion still though. A few notable changes overall.

An ODI squad of 14 is likely to be named at the same time.
