Nope.

Windies will live on for decades on the pure class of Lara, Chanderpaul and Gayle.
:) England ..... have some guy called KP?... and some drunk all rounder guy ... I can't remember his name, though.

Yes, but we beat everyone else too. Squishily.
We only just got to the second spot though, by beating them 6-1. Therefore there wasn't enough space between us and them when they beat Australia 3-2 (while we were inactive) and therefore moved marginally ahead into number 2.

WI > England.

Taylor, Powell, Collymore > Mahmood, Plunkett, Broad.

And in case you didn't realize, Bangladesh is presently massively superior to Zimbabwe, so it's not a huge drop to the gap between them.

Foregone conclusion that Sarwan would be captain, good to see Dave Mohammad back in the side after his good domestic performances.

Any idea when the CW squad will be announced/selected? *hopes*
I anticapate we will have to announce the other squads particapating in the first round first. Then as all selectors do have a look at the strength's of the other sides :p.

Although that's what I anticapate:kwasny: .

Going by previous squad announced most squads get announce a 3 to 4 days before our first match. The earliest i can recall is about a week before the first match. But as Justin pointed out the sides taking part in the first round should be announced first.
