*Official* CW XI in South Africa
![]() For the first time in 11 years, the Cricket Web XI will return to South Africa for a full tour. On the inaugural tour of South Africa, the Webheads lost 2-1 in Tests and had mixed results in the one-day international tri-series, also involving India. The tour was marked not only by the debut of the CW XI at international level, but also several monumental individual performances. Andrew Cloete stroked the highest Test score by a Webhead - 240. David Kennett, now an outsider to the ODI squad, took 7 for 22 against South Africa, and that remains the record haul for a Webhead in limited overs cricket. Now the Cricket Web XI return to play 5 Tests and 7 ODIs on what will certainly bigger one of the toughest tours to date. It is the first 5-Test away series to be contested by the Webheads in 8 years. Thursday 30th November Cricket Web XI vs Nicky Oppenheimer XI (50-over) at Randjesfontein Friday 1st December Cricket Web XI vs Free State (4-day) at Bloemfontein The Sanders-Donald Trophy (tentatively named) Sunday 3rd December 1st Test Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Johannesburg Tuesday 5th December 2nd Test Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Durban Wednesday 6th December Cricket Web XI vs Border (4-day) at East London Thursday 7th December 3rd Test Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Cape Town Friday 8th December Cricket Web XI vs Easterns (4-day) at Benoni Sunday 10th December 4th Test Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Centurion Tuesday 12th December 5th Test Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Johannesburg ODI Series Thursday 14th December Cricket Web XI vs South Africa 'A' (50-over) at Paarl Friday 15th December 1st ODI Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Cape Town (d/n) Sunday 17th December 2nd ODI Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Port Elizabeth (d/n) Tuesday 19th December 3rd ODI Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Durban (d/n) Wednesday 20th December 4th ODI Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Centurion Friday 22nd December 5th ODI Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Johannesburg (d/n) Sunday 24th December 6th ODI Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Bloemfontein (d/n) Tuesday 26th December 7th ODI Cricket Web XI vs South Africa at Port Elizabeth (d/n)

Should be a cracking series, two of the best ODI sides locking horns. Not bad Test sides either...

Excellent!
Hope to keep my place in the ODI side and at least make the test tour with the hope of gaining my spot back.
