Rana out of series
Seamer Naved-ul-Hasan will miss Pakistan's tour of CWLand with a gashed head. In an extremely unexpected incident, Rana Naved was injured during throw downs at Pakistan's training camp in the build up to the series. He will require major surgery to correct the condition. No word as to what the surgery will entail.

Mushtaq ruled out
In a freakishly familiar incident, Mushtaq Ahmed has been ruled out of consideration for Pakistan's tour of CWLand. There was talk that he could be a surprise inclusion in the squad alongside Danish Kaneria and Shahid Afridi as one of the main spin options. However, he fractured his skull during a training session and will be out for 2 months.
