Nikhil vs Players Assocation Trial

Start of Trial Date: November 15th - Monday

Panel of Jury:
Prosecturs:

Defendants:
Lucky Eddie
Steds
Age Master

The defence team and prosection team will each consist of 3 persons. Those three persons must be listed here ASAP. Marc is the chief prosecutor and Steds is the chief defence attorney. The jury will be agreed upon by the defence and prosecution teams through the medium of the CWBCC.

Rules

Defendants and prosecutors have until the start of the trial to research the case.

No player is allowed to comment/post their views on the trial thread, however there will be a specific thread to discuss the ongoings of the trial etc.

Only the panel of jury, defendants and prosecutors and the board will post in
the trial thread.

The prosecutors and defendants will have 1 week from the start of the trial to compile their evidence regarding the case in the specific trial thread, and
both sides will be allowed to ask the 'person on trial' a series of questions along with the evidence, posted on the trial thread, and the 'person on trial' HAS to answer them, and is NOT allowed to edit the answer in reply.

The opposite (defendants or prosecutors) can choose to step in to object a question/questions being asked to the "person on trial" to which the 'head of jury' will decide if the question will be carried on or the prosecutors have to withdraw and carry on.

Any number of witnessess can be called upon by either the defendants and the prosecutors to start off with and a series of questions can be asked relating to the case only, adding further basis to their evidence.. In Case the trial was to continue after the first verdict, new witnesses may be called up.
The witness/witnesses have to be notified in the specific trial thread. And we would hope the witness/witnesses not communicate to either parties during the trial.

The jury will be given a maximum of 1 week to discuss, based on the evidence and will either give a verdict after the 1 week or call in for the trial to continue, which will give the defendants and prosecutors another chance to post in new evidence and ask the 'person on trial' a seies of questions all within maximum of 5 days from the 1st decision made by the jury.

The jury will be given a further 5 days to come to a final verdict IF the
trial was to continue.

Thank you for your co-operation, this is the basic outlook of the trial so
far, and slight modifications will be made until the week before the start of
the trial date.

Any suggestions or comments can be made to: reuben@globe.net.nz
CC: _________

CWBCC

Please read the rules carefully.. you are allowed to post things in here as this is not the main "Trial" thread but only the details..

The jury will be decided upon by the prosecution and defence. Thus far Richard Twyman has been secured by CWBCC. The other 2 are still up for debate. We're willing to take suggestions from both parties.

if one party is unhappy with the result can they attempt to appeal the decision on different grounds?

like in australia if you're not happy with the decision you can take it to the next level... or if you believe there's been some sort of injustice in the process u can appeal it and try to get a retrial...

It depends upon the nature of the trial itself. For instance, if Nikhil were to lose, an appeal would be unacceptable.
