**Official NEW CW Football Signup Thread**

CWXI Football

There are 6 teams in the league. 5 are captained by CricketWeb players and contain other CW players and the other is a team made up of foreign players. New sign-ups will be allocated to one of the 5 teams captained by a CW player. These are Northside Power, Island Swell, Central United, Southern Dynamo and East Coast Fury

*READ BEFORE SIGNING UP*
AGGRESSION:
Aggression does not count as a skill points so choose any number between 1 and 50. Aggression means you will go in for more challenges but also go in harder. Be careful, if your tackling is poor you might see alot of reds. If your tackling is good you might make alot of crucial tackles. Basically, choose wisely.

Skills:
You need to put at least 1 skill point for each attribute, even keeping (just put it as 1).
Basically the following is how you can assign skill points (EXCLUDING AGGRESSION) based on your age:
IF AGE IS 17-19 YEARS: Total Skill Points = 22, Maximum of any ONE skill = 16
IF AGE IS 20-22 YEARS: Total Skill Points = 23, Maxiumum of any ONE skill = 18
IF AGE IS 23-26 YEARS: Total Skill Points = 25, Maximum of any ONE skill = 20
IF AGE IS 27-28 YEARS: Total Skill Points = 26, Maximum of any ONE skill = 21

Goalkeepers:
IF AGE IS 17-19 YEARS: Total Skill Points = 22, Maximum of any ONE skill = 18
IF AGE IS 20-22 YEARS: Total Skill Points = 23, Maxiumum of any ONE skill = 20
IF AGE IS 23-26 YEARS: Total Skill Points = 25, Maximum of any ONE skill = 22
IF AGE IS 27-28 YEARS: Total Skill Points = 26, Maximum of any ONE skill = 23

There are no positions in ESMS+, it will be up to your captain, coach, selector, manager etc. to pick where you play (or even you, we don't mind people requesting transfers to play in a different position ). So choose a "skill set" based on the position you wish to play or simply be an "all-rounder".

Advice for new sign-ups
Distribution of stats is upto the player. However, a number of captains have expressed the comment that 'specialists' are more useful than 'allrounders' and could find it easier to gain selection.

I think there should be a minium for atleast one skill. Nothing worse then a guy signing up and he will only ever be a bench or bits and pieces players.

So in reverse Table order

1. Fury
2. Dynamo
3. United
4. Swell
5. Power

Same as usual. If you take a player then you drop to the bottom. You cannot have 3 consecutive passes and if you take a player you must release a player of your choice from your squad.
