Is there going to be a change to stats so the players are ranked out of 20 or 25. Or are still going with stupid out of 100 ratings?

Oh yeah are you using any retirement sim for these older players. I can't remember if there is one in sim or we used an external one we used in EFM.

Hm. I see you have acquired Bjørn Berland's ten year younger brother.

Aiming for Fan or Parlour in the first round. Need someone experienced to shore up the back four.

All players, CW and otherwise go through an updater at the end of the season.

So now all players have aged a year and the younger players improved and the old players declined.

With regards to the old players on last seasons squads, if they declined into uselessness (is that a word?) then I retired them.

The 'stupid' ratings out of 100 will be kept. Looking into a number of different leagues the 100 rating is the common method.

However, research seems to indicate that the higher the player ratings the less realistic and more unstable the sim becomes. Ratings in the 40s and above make for strange scorelines.

So to address this, all players have been progressed and then their skills halved (all fractions rounded up).
So a player that had 40 tk, 13 pass and 9 st now has 20 tk, 7 pass, 5 st.

It should make for more realistic scorelines. Also, all aggression has been capped at 50 and attribute bonuses from games been adjusted to stop rapid points advancement.

I think you will find most leagues start off at 20 or 25 and then as players improve past or near the max they increase to 100. Most of leagues I've played (only a handful) usually have that policy. But if the stats are closer together then I guess it doesn't matter a great deal. Problem we had last season was that 20-30 players were coming up against players double their ability. Even in a league rated out of 20, if you had players with 8 and another with 16 the same thing would happen.

I reckon a human might have been used to put together the program TBH. So when is these matches to be played/posted?
