New Zealand? Thailand? Indonesia? Myanmar? Malaysia? Papua New Guinea? All quite good sides in the area that should probably pwn us but at least give us a decent idea of where we stand in international football.

Of course we shouldn't play Brazil for 15-20 years yet. But there's a difference between "powerhouses", "mediocre sides slightly above our level" and "rank amateurs from an island population 64,500 whose national sport is gridiron"
Well we'll just have to wait and see who the 2nd International is against...

Looking foward to it. Here's to hoping i can pull out a few good games to give myself a chance of selection.

Need to start at the very bottom. In terms of region's reputation we're down at a mighty 0. Playing and beating American Samoa will raise our profile marginally in the international scene.

Seeing as how our national sport is Cricket it would be a good idea to start at the very bottom rather than an average side who would beat us quite convincingly. We need to show to our doubters and the people supporting us that we deserved international recognition so we should try and win as many as we can for a start.

Should be good, also should be interesting to see the team considering all players are so far pretty equal as far as stats go, so there should be a lot of pushing for places in the team.

Gee the way that defence went in the pre-season we might be looking at finishing the game with only 1 defender...

Haha, fair enough. My thinking was along the lines of palying a one-off match we had to win. Most of the good defenders were aggressive.
