Weeks 10-14: Challengers & Masters Series Qualifying

The next five weeks are a little bit confusing because we have Davis and Cup and two Masters Series with draws of 96. There will be Challengers in every week, but I've not decided on which ones beyond Cherbourg. Just say what you want to play these weeks and possibly a surface.

Week 10: Davis Cup (ESP vs. ECL); Cherbourg Challenger

Challenger DCNS de Cherbourg
Cherbourg, France
Regular series
€42,500+H - Hard (i) - 32S/32Q/16D

Week 11: Indian Wells Masters (Starts Thurs, 11th) ; Indian Wells Qualifying (Tuesday & Wednesday); Challenger

Week 12: Indian Wells Masters; Sunrise Challenger (hard); Marrakech Challenger (clay)

BMW Tennis Championship
Sunrise, United States
Regular series
$125,000+H - Hard - 32S/32Q/16D

Morocco Tennis Tour - Marrakech
Marrakech, Morocco
Regular Series
€106,500+H - Clay (Red) - 32S/32Q/16D

Week 13: Miami Masters (Starts Wed, 24th); Miami Qualifying (Monday & Tuesday); Challenger

Week 14: Miami Masters; Challenger

For instance, you might put (as Roy Daniels does):

W10: Rest
W11: Indian Wells qualifying
W12: Sunrise
W13: Miami qualifying
W14: Challenger (preference: hard)
Guys who are direct entries in Indian Wells and Miami can enter the Challenger draws if they think they might fall early, and then not withdraw if they stay on. Sunrise is fairly popular for that between IW and Miami as the top players go for some match practice. For our lower ranked players, the cut off is fairly low there.

W10: Rest
W11: Indian Wells qualifying
W12: Sunrise (if poor progression at Indian Wells. Need to get some ranking points on the board, so will withdraw from Doubles at Indian Wells if I don't progress past the first couple of singles rounds. Happy for Mustard to team up with someone else if he wants a guaranteed doubles run)
W13: Miami qualifying
W14: Rest (if early exit at Miasma)

You've got direct entry into Indian Wells and Miami anyway. That basically top 80 give or take five + quallies and wildcards.

Jeez. I'm **** at this stuff - I just don't follow tennis enough in real life.

Erm. What surface are the Challengers in Week 11 & 13 played on?

Not sure yet. I might run two those weeks (one for you, one for me/whoever) and see how that goes. In that case it'd be clay and hard.

You can withdraw from Miami if you want, but it will still count as a zero to your Best 18.
