Name: Pierre Rose
Nationality: Jamaican Date of birth: 26.11.1989 Right or left-handed: Right Signature court (pick ONE): Hard Short biography of person and style: Rose is a rookie who has the makings of being the next great. He's quickly risen up the junior rankings after dominating the scene in his home country and moving to the US for further training and doing well there.

Name: Koal Kao
Nationality: British/American Date of birth: 09-06-1992 Right or left-handed: Right Signature court (pick ONE): Indoor Short biography of person and style: Koal learned the game on the public parks and it shows. He possess an unorthodox style that relies as much on his athleticism, reflexes and agility as his lack of formal coaching. Lacking a big serve and having an inconsistent top spin forehand, Kao hits nearly everything (back and forehand) with a heavy slice. His strategy is simple: make no mistakes, keep the ball in play and return everything. Power and hitting winners are not his thing but if you like exciting rallies, athleticism and sportsmen throwing their body around then keep an eye out for Koal Kao 1. Jano de Beer (SA) 27 2. Dino Cabuccana (Philippines) 16 3. Stephan Ivanov (Bulgaria) 18 4. Dave Lowe (Eng) 33 5. Travis Curtis (USA) 29 6. Charles Alderman (USA) 25 7. Kevin Fallon (Eng) 21 8. 'Fingers' Strephan (Eng) 32 9. Anid Niraj (Indonesia) 27 10. Manny Garcia (Mexico) 22

Name: Pierre Garcon
Nationality: French Date of birth: 23/02/1987 Right or left-handed: Left Signature court (pick ONE): Clay Short biography of person and style: The extremely flamboyant Frenchman with a knack for getting away with less than appropriate attire during his amatur career. Garcon is known for his excessive movement pre-serve, 'whippy' action and his amazing speed around the court. Ten others? Tyson Jackson - Canada - 26 Alhid Mahmood - Egypt - 20 D'Brickshaw Thomas - USA - 31 Nathan Warner - Australia - 24 Austin Rhodes - UK - 19 Chang Lui - China - 22 Harvey Silverman - USA - 28 Magnus Grey - Finland - 21 Igor Oshansky - Russia - 18 Filo Maivia - Samoa - 27

Name: Jack Loughman
Nationality: English Date of birth: 9/12/1991 Right or left-handed: Right Signature court (pick ONE): Grass Short biography of person and style: A powerful base line player who loves nothing more to play a beautiful passing shot. Noted for his strong backhand and control of the ball he sometimes struggles to contain himself during a match and has been known to have heated exchanges with the umpires. However this doesn't detract from his tennis, where his powerful serving and base line hitting will make him a force to contend with. |

Name: Phoenix Wleft
Nationality: Chinese Date of birth: 21/10/1987 Right or left-handed: Left-handed Signature court: Indoor Short biography of person and style: Phoenix permanently injured his right shoulder when he pointed into a brick wall once. It was thought his promising career was done for, but there'd be nothing left of Phoenix if you took Rallies and Protests away from him, would there? He returns with a new forehand that, while lacking in power, always hits the right spot. A Turnabout specialist, he is at his best in clutch situations, and his counter-attacking is top-notch. Often seen Objecting and presenting contradictory evidence to the umpires' calls, he is at home on Indoor courts, because it reminds him of his courtroom days. On a slightly related note, he is an excellent mixed doubles player. There have been reports of his partners transforming into older, more attractive women, but there has been no conclusive evidence proving the occurance of these events.

Good to see a few new sign-ups. Just make sure you stay active, guys. We've already got too many inactive players.

Name: Arthur McBride
Nationality: Irish Date of birth: 12/10/1988 Right or left-handed: Right Signature court (pick ONE): Clay Short biography of person and style: Arthur McBride is Ireland's number 1 tennis player. Formerly a particular bad folk artist, he shot to domestic fame when a local tennis coach noticed the skill with which he used his banjo to defend himself from angry tomato-throwers. What he lacks in skill, ability, fitness and spirit he more than makes up for with his cunning use of foul play and poor sportsmanship. In homage to Stone Cold Steve Austin, he celebrates every victory he achieves by climbing onto the net and giving his opponent the finger with both hands. |

From the East Robbham Worker:
Great things expected of Wleft EAST Robbham. Young prodigy Phoenix Wleft has come to terms with an agreement to represent the CDR in the future in another boost to the developing nation's chances. In front of a big crowd of loyal comrades, Wleft posed for photographs with fellow champions Randy Smeltz and Spas Delev. Wleft, a talented youngster who has played most of his life indoors, is elligible to represent the CDR immediately. From the Nixonstown Daily: Pair join growing Western community NIXONSTOWN. West CWLand have completed the signings of English-born youngster Jack Loughman and Ireland's Arthur McBride. McBride, disenchanted with a lack of clay courts in his homeland, joined in a lucrative deal whilst Loughman will also represent the Republic. |
