New Zealand announced the squad for their International game against CWLand.

The squad was picked from players based purely in New Zealand (with the exception of Pelter who stayed on after the U'20s game).

Despite this, the NZ squad has a massive advantage in international experience over CWLand.

Code:

NZ vs CW

Little did the CW squad realise when they arrived in New Zealand that they would take part in a game that is sure to be replayed on TVs across the World for years to come.

In the privacy of their dressing rooms the coaches had no way of appreciating that their chosen tactics would lead to such an open game.

NZ played 3 forwards and only 3 in defence and Clapham decided on the attacking tactic for CWLand.

CW Starting Line-up

Code:
GK Kyle_Wright
DF Daniel_Towns
DF Neil_Pickup
DF Manan_Shah
DF Xavier_Rose
DM Håkon_Mørk
MF Zac_Gelman
MF G_Sriram
MF Kexing_Su
FW Kev_Gough
FW Daniel_Smith
With Clapham starting on the bench he handed the armband to Smith. Would the on-field captaincy be too much for the captain of United and could CWLand perform at the higher level?

lol at Pelter scores more goals then most Kiwi forwards, only problem is that its in the wrong net.

Thats right. I forgot he scored one in the U'20s game as well.

Im sure they are happy to have paid that business class airfare from Sunderland just for the return of 2 o.g.s in 2 games.

Congrats to Clapo for engineering that special result and congrats to Smith for doing the damage.

Wow, stoked to be given the armband on debut. 3 goals isn't a bad way to start off either.

3 own goals in the game, shocker.

I assume Zac's injury carries over to pre-season, any details on that?

Horrible standard of football, par for the course in Oceania really. Not a too good game for myself, though the assist to Manan was a clever piece of footwork.
