One eyed commentary tbf, i nicked the ball away then he stood on my calf, pretty clear cut decision for the ref, and he got it spot on.

Some thoughts on the game
We were clearly the better team, even if some decisions went our way.
Disappointed in Pickup getting sent-off in the 89th min. What was he thinking? He is now suspended.
Great to get a clean sheet. Def and keeps did well.
Brilliant to make it to the final, hope we can continue this form into the season.

Possibly it's just to give back points from the past. But if the keepers are consistently going to get more points than everyone else, we'll quickly end up with a lot of 0-0s.

Very disappointing, we seem to be letting in way too many goals at the start of the game. Looks like we are going back to the drawing board again, lucky its only the pre-season.

Southern Stallions vs East Coast Fury
at the Edfield Stadium
Edfield Stadium was the venue for the final Group game in the Innaugural Pre-Season Cup, a game which turned out to be the most one-sided game in the Cup so far...
East Coast needed a point to join the Island Swell in the Final whilst the stallions although needing a 3 goal win were hopeful of a birth as well...
East Coast dominated the opening stanza creating plenty of opportunities, however the finishing was off target. Nitin Dravid having a couple of good shots early but seemed to have left his shooting boots at home..
Fury continued to dominate the Stallions all accross the park but were unable to take the lead with Stallions keeper Kyle Wright putting in a masterful display in goals to keep the scores level at half time...
After the break the Fury continued to flex their muscle.. Creating more and more chances but to no avail.
On 60 minutes Jack McNamara was red carded for a second yellow however despite continuous dominace the Fury couldnt breakthrough Wrights defence..
The Fans were seeing a masterful display from their keeper, who no doubt put his name in lights for the national selectors with a man of the match performance..
The Fury couldn't do it.. Despite having a massive 75% of possession, and having 27 shots at goal the Stallions keeper held strong..
A draw, enough for the Fury to make the final but also great signs for the Stallions to absorb that amount of pressure and not crack..
