http://www.justvirendersehwag.com/wp...ictures-38.jpg Virender Sehwag - Opening Batsman Season 1 stats: 1530 runs @52.75, HS 128 Perhaps one of the most exciting batsmen in the world to watch, Virender Sehwag would be a good addition to any team. With minimal footwork but maximum intent, he has piled Test runs at a faster pace than anyone in the history of cricket. Unconcerned by pressure or match situation, Sehwag always approaches the game in his own unique style. Comfortable against pace or spin, he is a very good addition to the team. An international five-wicket haul with his off-spin shows he's no mug with the ball either. |
Yeah Sehwag's bordered on being a genuine allrounder in previous versions of this on other wesbites etc - his bowling has declined recently though so it'll be interesting to see how much you get out of him if you toss him the ball.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7fvTG0WNZS...ike_Hussey.jpg Mike Hussey- Batsman Season 1 stats: 1437 runs @55.27 HS 164 "Mr Cricket" is one of the best batsmen in world cricket today. The unflappable middle-order batsman accumulates runs like nobody else. After a fantastic start to his career, in fact the quickest to reach 1000 test runs, he hit a bit of a slump, before the left-hander returning to form in the 2010/11 Ashes series. A team-player with a fantastic work-ethic, Hussey also provides some useful medium pace. |

http://jamaica-gleaner.com/gleaner/2...20090625RM.jpg Dwayne Bravo (Retained) - All-rounder Season 1 stats: 941 runs @34.85 HS 156, 48 wickets @34.25 BBI 5/75 Just about sneaking in a higher batting average than bowling average in the first season, Bravo starred with both bat and ball in season one. Retained by The Hectic Glow after some impressive performances, the team are looking for more of the same from the charismatic West Indian. |
http://www3.pictures.gi.zimbio.com/E..._gsjnZOtOl.jpg Tim Bresnan (Retained) - All-rounder Season 1 stats - 334 runs @27.83 HS 74, 24 wickets @44.17, BBI 5/83 Perhaps under-utilised in season 1, England's "lucky charm" looks set to star in the second season of CWPL. Whilst primarily a bowler, he's more than useful with the bat. An improvement between the two seasons can only stand him in good stead for this years competition. |
Dwayne Bravo was an interesting retention. Not sure if he can match the output of Season 1.
