Sparks With Laser Beams In Their Eyes CC

Sparks With Laser Beams In Their Eyes Cricket Club

Because nothing helps you hit a cricket ball better than having your retinas destroyed by several watts of coherent light.

Still gloriously heading towards a crushing defeat (or victory, since this team is more than a little bipolar) near you.

----------------------------------------------------

Season 1: 4th

MVPs: Sourav Ganguly (6th, 2836), Michael Clarke (7th, 2769), Tharanga Paranavitana (13th, 2567)

Most runs: Sourav Ganguly (1458 @ 66.27 in 24 innings, 5 100s with a HS 379*), Tharanga Paranavitana (1449 @ 60.38 in 26 innings, 6 100s with a HS 275), Michael Clarke (1362 @ 61.91 in 24 innings, 3 100s with a HS 153)

Most wickets: Stuart Clark (69 @ 27.97, 4 5WIs with BBI 5/39), Shane Bond (68 @ 29.72, 2 5WIs with BBI 5/61), James Anderson (62 @ 26.82, 4 5WIs with BBI 6/75).

Holds the record for highest individual score (Ganguly 379*, R14 vs. Squirts)

Early favourite. Hard to fault how this team is taking shape. Expecting Johnson to be a real flop this season however.

At a guess, the average age of this squad is well beyond 30.
