Really wanted Zaheer. My plan to just try and draft a new attack went so badly, everyone else retained at least one bowler and then all the Test-standard ones starting going in round one.

Including the one you actually did try to pick in Round 2.

Every one of England and South Africa's front line seamers had been taken before I had my first pick. And the only Australian ones remaining where Hilfenhaus and Cummins.

Hilfenhaus was picked by Vimes in post #3, so he was gone too. Howe just being a bit daft.

Looks like I'll have to settle for Sreesanth and Southee taking my new ball then. Dire.

Was kind of hoping Murali would slip through with the not playing FC since 2010 lark. Ah well.

Southee was verging on the realms of acceptable for my team last time out.

Yeah, I gambled releasing him in the hope of picking him up later than round 2.

I really hoped to get Pattinson in round 1 and a batsman in round 2 but Pattinson was the first guy picked much to my surprise. Have had to do some quick thinking and rearguard action to recover from that slip up.

The draw pretty much screwed up my plans at the start in any case.

Btw, we aren't having a snake draft order this time ?

The whole draft and retentions thing is bonkers. Should have been allowed to retain well more than 4 tbh. But more importantly I'm a bit confused.

a) Serves you right for retaining with a view to getting a lucky draw
b) What? It's exactly the same draft format as last time.

If Howe_zat is going away, what should I do about my pick?
