Oh, we need to finalise captain, bowling tactics etc. We have a game tonight, and we need to do better than the real life ****s. Shouldn't be difficult.

1. Mike 5181 (RHB)+
2. StrawMan (LHB Very aggressive)
3. Hurricane (right hand bat)
4. NZT (right hand bat)
5. Athlai (RHB + Medium pace)
6. Raghav (RHB)
7. Somerset (Allrounder Right arm fast medium)
8. James (Right arm Fast)
9. Voltman (right arm leg spin)
10. Heath (right arm fast)
11. Flem274* (leg break)

Bowling order: Heath, James, Somerset, Me/Volty, Athlai

Tactics: Heath and James to open and close the bowling with a 5-5 split in their spells. Somerset to get a few overs through with Athlai (2-5 overs each) before bringing on the spinners to bowl straight through.

Agreeable?

Agree with it all, though I should clearly open the bowling and batting.

Just checking in to let you know you won't be winning this WC. Sorry. No hard feelings eh?

Keep coming to this thread expecting to see that I scored a scintillating 17(12) in a NZ victory while I was asleep. And am disappointed. Must be a highly localised rain cloud camped over PEWS' house.

Hope Somerset, Voltman and James are all good with the bat - at 7,8 & 9 in a NZ team we're all looking at you for the runs. Go win me my pay packet

I think if this ever happens, we will be a bowling side. The simulation is based on your post count and most of our heavy hitters (with the exception of Athlai) are in the bowling.

Reckon that means we should bat first and do our major skill second when the pressure is on. Not that the simulation game will factor that in.
