Zimbabwe will be a very hard team to fill, I reckon. It's a shame they're in the same group as Canada and Kenya as those will be the hardest teams to fill - we could've made two of them a "bye" if they were in opposite groups. I'm very happy to play for Australia, England, New Zealand, Ireland or Zimbabwe. I follow the cricket in all those countries with particular interest.

Tipping Ireland to get more numbers than the West Indies if people about the forum are contacted - that'd be amusing.

Seems to be well-received so far and James gave it the go-ahead, so I'll create an official sign-up thread soon.

I'd be interested.

England, obvz. Qualify for Ireland in the football and rugby regs through my maternal grandfather, but not sure about cricket. Think I'd either need to be a citizen (which I'm not, although am eligible for an Irish passport) or have done 4 years residence.

In for NZ as a quick bowler.

Excuse me while I fall down a slight gradient at 122 kmph.

Sign-up thread. If you started filling it in before I edited my post, make sure you have batting and bowling aggression in there.

My "prefers facing" thing seems to have caused confusion. It's asking whether you'd prefer to face inswing or outswing bowling when you're batting, basically.

Also, interesting to note that Clapo's stock ball is a left-arm wrong'un. Paul Adams in disguise?

I'm good for Australia, obvs. Other teams, we'll wait and see.

EDIT: I think we'll almost certainly need many multiples to make this work.

Oops.

It is really hard to figure out with PEWS though.

With him posting so much in one of the NZ series thread ,always thought he was a Kiwi.

I'll probably just use forumers who don't actually sign up and cap their abilities until they do.
