New Stadium Unveiled

Plans have been unveiled for the replacement of the venerable Clowich Arena. The unamed arena is to be situated on a hill on the outskirts of Clowich, overlooking both the town and the Campsfield straights.

The landscaping of the surounding area enables the stadium to appear as though perched on the crest of wave.

Funding has been provisionally secured from GICC, pending the anticipated success of the inaugral season of the CW football league.

Clowich stadium is neither new, nor purpose built, we have to share it with the Clowich Admirals and Garven Island Pirates. The running track round the outside also stifles the atmosphere.

As SKD points out, Clowich Stadium has been the center of sporting culture on Garven Island for quite a while now. A place where players and supporters of a variety of sports can come together as a community.

However, with the expected success of CW Football and Island Swell a new stadium (see above) has been proposed and designed for next season.

Colwich Stadium will continue to be the spiritual home of Garven Island sport, but the new stadium will be the exciting and vibrant home of Garven Island football.
