Editing .PAK files

Hi Guys, has anyone attempted to edit the .PAK files or the Fixture files (.FXT)? If so can someone recommend a program that can let me extract the .PAK files.

I've had a quick look at the .FXT files in a Hex Editor, but haven't got anywhere.
