CA has stated that all scheduled Australian international cricket will go ahead, as planned but much work will need to be done, to overcome the tradgedy and restore the side to its former glory.

Good luck! With Phil Hughes leading your side you've at least the best batsman on the game but the rest might cause a few concerns.

I haven't got Phil Hughes mate. And thanks for the support. I've been slaughtered in the first two matches and will post them up soon.

Sorry I misread Phil Jacques for Hughes - thats going to make things a bit tougher then, though Jacques is still a very good player on ICC.

Tour of South Africa

Well it ended 4-1 against us. It was a good result i feel and i learnt alot about what player i'll be taking into the ashes.

1st ODI

Jaques
Rogers
Klinger
Cosgrove
Bailey
Warner
Wade
Noffke
Geeves
Harris
McKay

Made 271 thanks to a 131 run stand between Bailey/Cosgrove, we went from 3/39 to 4/17 Cosgorve made 109 and Bailey 66. SA easily chased down our total in the 39th over with wickets in hand. All the bowler were tonked but the best was Noffke, who still went at 5 an over.

2nd ODI

Klinger and Geeves out, Krezja and ****ley in.
Batted and made 226. Wickets fell reqularly and there were only bit part innings. The highest was Krezja's 37 from no. 8. Same story with the bowling as last time, took them only 37 over. Noffke once again the most economical.

3rd ODI

Klinger, Henriquesand Hartley in, Warner, Harris and Wade, out.

SA batted very ell for 336. No centuries but two nineties. ****ley was the best bowler but Noffke went at 9.4 RPO. Austraia with little hope of winning the game came out of the blocks with a ver fast 114 run opening stand. The top five all smashed the ball around, cosgrove got his 2nd century and 8 wickets down a single was scrambled in the 2nd last over to win the match.

4th ODI

No changes.
SA once again batted wel fro 317. ****ley got 4-53 to be the standout. Australia tried to repeat their heroics of last match but failed to be all out for 191. Wade got 59 and Henriques 45.

5th ODI

Hartley and Geeves in, Wade and Krezja, out.
SA were restricted to 269-8 on a perfect wicket. ****ley got 4-44 and Noffke 4-45.
Australia capitulated again to be 168 all out. 49 from Rogers and 43 from Bailey the standouts.

****ley recieved bowler of the series and Cosgrove the Batsman's award for Australia.

T20 World Cup: Group Matches

Vs West Indies
Played:
Jaques
Rogers
Cosgrove
Bailey
Voges
Henriques
Wade
Noffke
McKay
Magoffin
McGain

Sent out to field and was happy with the efforts. Limited them to 149-9, with every bowler taking a wicket. Including a 4-0-18-3 from Noffke. Had no trouble hitting them around and reached the target in the 17th over. Rogers made 81*.

Vs Sri Lanka
No Changes
Kept the same squad and batted first. Our inexperience shone through as wee stuttered to 106-9. Bailey Top scored with 26 in a poor team display. With nothing to bowl at the bowlers were helpless, Magoffin the pick, in a 17 over innings.

T20 Super Eights

Vs England
Batted for 123. Rogers made 46 but with no support we recorded an underpar score. Bwoling was good and it took until the last over for england to win the game, McGain was economical for once.

Vs Ireland
Ireland batted first and competently for 153. McKay picked up 2 and was economical. Batting was very poor though aonly 108-7 was managed. Wade made 49*, Bailey 29 but they were the only double figure scores. Jaques got a golden duck which summed up an embarrassing loss for the Aussies.

Vs South Africa
SA were sent in and made 157. But not for some very loose bowling from the usually reliable pair of McKay and Noffke it could have been alot less. ****ley was the best. Batting started badly with Jaques second consecutive golden duck. 118 was all that was managed. With Klinger's 38 and Roger's 37 the highest scores.

Good win over the West Indies but unlucky with the rest - hope your side comes together a bit better for their next tour!
