Yeah. So do Michael Rae and Matt Bacon.

This is an Otago game and sadly Nathan Smith didn’t amount to much. But my Zim team is stronger than the other one I talked about. Not significantly, but Jakachira is the best Zim regen I’ve seen so far.

Have enjoyed playing ICC 2018 for the past week or so after discovering that the title was still ongoing.

Feels identical to the 2007 version I played back in the day, just with updated players and one or two minor QoL improvements... but still fun.

I still feel like there's a large market waiting for a higher-quality cricket management game, a'la Football Manager, particularly in the sub-continent.

Have felt like everything from Cricket Captain to Battrick and FTP could have really got a lot bigger if they'd made a bigger push in Asia.

Had a save as South Africa where we had a bunch of talented batsmen who showed huge potential and then never lived up to it.

    Pretty realistic.

Then again, my best player was a spin bowler who averaged over 7 wickets a match and outperformed the likes of Rabada, so maybe not...

We were as high as 4th in the test championship but generally hovered around 6-7 until Jakachira and his generation of players retired (had 3 guys averaging 40+ around him and a couple of useful bowlers). Now gone down to 11th in 2046. Had 2-3 guys listed as allrounders who were really batsmen who bowled a bit rather than true allrounders. Team is weak and likely to stay weak for a while, Jakachira was a freak - final stats & comparison with other bats below. Chimboro and Ndlela are two of the supporting players I mentioned. Chumonorwa and Nkewa stars of the current side.

Unsure how many are still playing the latest version (CC19) - which I’ve personally found a bit disappointing overall - but I did have probably my best ODI win ever to capture the 2019 World Cup with Afghanistan, including needing 15 off the last 8 balls with 1 wicket in hand!

Those Bumrah no-balls appear once again in a final.

I'm in the year 2036 and have a 51 year old Tino Best in my T20 team. I saw him in the domestic players pool surprisingly in 2035, and I bought him.

Sometimes, the auto simulation doesn't give him a bowl. He did take a few wickets last season going at over 10 an over.

I honestly couldn't see much of a difference between the current game & the 2018 version when I had a squiz at the demo. Best to wait til CC 2020 comes out, it should include the WTC among other things.
