Err well i never put any money for youths, and i still got 1 really class opener and great keeper batsman, if u find and opener or keeper/batsman then they are usually good.

put 50 on youth then get them at young age when u buy . look for really good 2x1 averages

batting 70 and over

bowling 23 and under

keepers batting over 40

all rounders batting over 50 and bolwing under 30

this is what i use and i have got some really good youth players in my years with surrey. won plenty of comps also
