One Day International
Australia vs Bangladesh

Australian Team -
Highkon Mawk (ODI Debut)
James Stedman (ODI Debut)
Mat Mitchell
Greg Thomas
Jake McDonald (ODI Debut)
Daniel Smith
Manjunath Reddlapalli (wk) (ODI Debut)
Will Quinn (ODI Debut)
SC Somerset (ODI Debut)
Ryan Dunn (ODI Debut)
Nathan Patrick (capt)

Coach's Call -
"Pretty happy with the layout of the side. Seven debutants though. At least it's against Bangladesh. Dunn has earnt his bowling spot, but Quinn and Somerset only just make it in. Hopefully the opening pair can get us off to a good start on debut aswell. Reddlapalli wouldn't want to screw up with the gloves, either."

Australia won the toss and will bat first.

It's all coming together for Australia

Australia has claimed a win in it's first ODI since being 'reformed' earlier in the year. Many critics believed they'd struggle with such new personnel, but the players have responded magnificently thus far. Mat Mitchell was again the star with a big 100, while Highkon Mawk (on debut) and Greg Thomas made 60-odd each.

Coach's Call -
"Lovely victory. Mitchell and Thomas are in fine form. Big congrats to Mawk for the 50 on debut aswell. Stedman failing is disappointing, but hopefully he'll come good. All the bowlers offered something which is a high point. Somerset was firey. England however, will be the big test."

England win in thriller

England have prevailed in an epic encounter that went right down to the final ball. Their ability to keep a good run-rate even while losing wickets proved to be the difference. Michael Vaughan, who top scored with 58, was dropped by James Stedman on 18. Stedman continues to have an indifferent tournament, getting in then getting out and fielding clumsily at vital moments.

Coach's Call -
"So close! That game could've gone either way for mine, so we shouldn't get too negative about it. Patrick and Quinn had two superb spells with the ball and Dunn and Somerset were good if not a bit unpolished. Pietersen again made runs. Maybe we should bowl him spin early in his innings? If any of you have suggestions on this or other plans, selections, etc, let 'em rip."

Disappointed not to get a game after bowling well enough in the warm-ups. A very disappointing loss against the Poms there. Should have been winning from that situation. Mitchell seems in devastating form.

Nice to see myself in the side, the main is to just keep beating Bangladesh and we'll be through to the final.

Also good presentation mate KUTGW.
