Ways to effectively use practice and technique

What are some ways people use batting practice and batting technique in ICC 2008?

I used to play 2002 for the longest time and it was quite simple in that. I'd give my 4 bowlers a bowling practice and my 4 best batsmen batting practice and just roll with that.

Now with 2008 I'm trying to take a bit more efficient approach - I assume practice is good to use if one's "Form" is low - but where does technique fit into the scheme? And what kind of technique is good to use? If a batsman is classified as "aggressive" - say Sehwag - should I give him defensive batting technique or just keep amplifying his aggression? Or just stick with general technique? How about the various kinds of bowling technique?

Just looking for the best way to use these coaching things so I can nurture an awesome team. :)

Well, practice will give them a temporary but noticeable improvement in the short term. It changes nothing in the long term. Technique won't get them runs immediately, but it will improve their actual hidden skill rating. It's probably best to use them when they are younger (ie; 27 and younger is my limit).

I have just been giving general technique but now I am going to look at more specialised stuff. Where a batsman has preferences for spin or the leg side or whatever, I'm going to try and work on the one he's not so good at. That is with the exception of aggression... I'll let them retain their natural defensiveness/aggression.
