International Retirements

They seem a lot more rare than in the County Championship and I'm wondering how many people have had players retire? I'm in the 2008-09 season with Sri Lanka and haven't seen one retirement yet. I've still got Jayasuriya who's 38 and Tillakaratne is still going strong at 40 years of age

Ashley Giles retired after the 2006/07 Ashes tour, directly before the World Cup.

Thorpe played on until he was 40.
