Lara lost the toss against India in this 1st ODI
and we were put into bowl. Bravo got rid of Sehwag early
and Jeremy took Dravid. some tight bowling from Washington, Hinds and Mohammed, restricted India too 192/7 a doable total although It was a seamers track
we started steadly with the 1st wicket falling after just 18 overs for 55 runs, Gayle went not much later. Lara and Sarwan managed to put 50 on togheter but Lara failed.
Sarwan went on and had starts with Hinds and Bravo, but they couldnt stay. in the end Sarwan falls for 48 of 70
Washington gave us a exciting finish with just 6 needed of the last over with 2 wickets in hand. but washington couldnt resist the pressure and went bowled. 1 ball later it was all over as Jeremy was struck in front and was given out. windies lose by 3 runs!!!

again Lara lost to the toss to Tendulkar. and again they were put into bowl.
Ridley Jacobs came in for a dissapoing ODI game of Baugh..
and what a start to his keeping, stumping both Tendulkar and Dravid and taking a catch on the bargain.
india got themselves to the respectable total off 237/6
Washington and Mohammed again keeping it tight.
West indies started of okayish. Smith and Chanderpaul made 50s and Jacobs make a smashing! 40 of 44 balls with a huge 6.
we needed 71 of the last over! and Ihave to say Hinds, Bravo and mohammed are the man!!!!they won it for us with 4 needed of last over! what a good game! and its 1-1 in the series with 1 game to go.

in the decission game of this series Lara AGAIN lost the toss, good oman dont you think?
we bowled 1st on a spinners track early on Bravo was impressive(forgot to give him a bowl further in the game dumb me...)
Washington bowled with good raw pace nad Mohammed was the true spinking!
India could only make 200, easy total I thought....not as easy as you like.
steady starts middle order had a little collapse and scoring rate was to low. with 40 runs to go and 6 wickets down from the last 10 overs, I saw winning as a possibility. Hinds and Bravo had a 49 run partnership until bravo fell on 190/7. Washington gone 2nd ball and Mohmmed was gone 7 runs later. 4 needed to win of last over.
Hinds hit the winning 4 to save us and sealed the series and his maiden one day 50 of the season and what a good one of 50 balls.

good to see Dave showing once again that he is the best slow bowler in the world by some distance, any chance of giving us his world rankings kwek? (obviously we all know he should be no.1 in both forms but the ICC usually have different ideas)

Zimbabwe was the opponent and Lara the west indian captain.
we won the toss and put Zimbabwe into bat.
relativle easy we got them all out although Vermeulen en goodwin gave early problems, and Price later on took it on a bit longer. 311 was the result with good bowling from Mohammed, taking 4 wickets.
batting debutant got a bowl and took 2 wickets! dangerman Goodwin and Maungwa.
west indies started there reply with the biggest openingpartnership ever 358 runs. Smith was the 1st one to go for 139, and after a 100 run partnership between Gayle and Lara, Gayle departed for 256! amazingly good knock!
Chanderpaul added 60 sarwan 23 and west-indies declared for 672.which game them a 360odd advantage over Zimbabwe, the West indian bowlers started aggresive and only Vermeulen and goodwin batten on the rest got out fairly cheaply, again it was Gayle who took 3 wickets for just 19 rums(haha:D) in 11.1 overs. Thomas kept it tight with offering just 10 in 6 bowling 4 maidens:O
Dave took 3 and Tino took 3 too.
good win and MOM has to be Chris Gayle!!!!

well then time for test no2.
Lara won the toss and elected to bat on a pitch which could go both sides.
only smith could bat on and sarwan and Thomas (who played his 1st test innings) could support him well. West-Indies landed on 375 all out. not to bad but should be better.
zimbabwe was bowled fairly easy out with only mukondlwa and Goodwin(WHO SHOULDNT EVEN BE PLAYING!) giving resistance.
Bravo took 6-41 very good bowling from him.
Cunningham bowled very well 15-3-29-2.
West-indies didnt begin theyre replay very well but Lara and Sarwan(with a good ton) steadied the ship and Baugh chipped in with some runs too. with a 500 run lead. and 1 day and a bit to go the game was all open and windies declared wanting to bowl them out cheaply. Zimbabwe batted well and Vermeulen and Mukondlwa batted well. we only could get 7 down...so after 2 test the score is still 1-0.

Test no3 came and West indies went in it unchanged.
forcast was rain rain rain rain. and we felt it ahuh.
we batted 1st on a dry spinners track.
100/5 wasnt what we wished for but Baugh and Braco got us into a decent position 336 all out. Baugh scoring his 100 we bowled Zimbabwe out for 289 with Cunny and Dave sharing 9 wickets.
in the mean time we lost about 3 hours to rain..
we batted again and Lara scored a magnificent 123. we declared @ 263 with a 300 odd run lead. and 2 sessions to go we went for the attack. they were 9 down..25 minutes in play....edge.....edge...RAIN !!!!! 25 mins lost to **** rain!!! a draw..aah well we won the series anyway, though wouldve want to win it with 2-0!
Jamee...get ready.
