Hi all,

Great news for all cricket gaming fans and most of all congrats to Amazing Cricket followers. You've got it. The advanced and much improved version of your favourite cricket game, Amazing Cricket Reloaded. It has some amazing features and you'll love it. Its been re-coded completely in Visual Basic .NET and consider it as a game still under development. Download it straight from SumitSoft Download section. More mirror links will be up soon. I'm hardly getting any time from my studies but I've got so many requests for this new version that I've decided to release it as it is. You may come across certain bugs and programming errors while playing this game. So, kindly do me a favour and report those bugs as soon as possible so that I can sort out those.

Download the game from http://www.sumitsoft.tk

I'll mail a copy to James so that he can put it up on CricketWeb..Will do that tomm. now i gotta rush..Thanx again for your support!

Regards,
QuickFire.

I've just done one game...

England v/s Bangladesh
One Day International @ Trent Bridge, Nottingham

Toss: Bangladesh won the toss. Bangladesh decided to field first.

1st Innings:
Team Batting: England
Runs Scored: 420/9 [50 Overs]
Extras: 0
Run Rate: 8.4
Projected Score: 420
Fall of Wickets:
12 20 21 27 227
318 403 404 410

2nd Innings:
Team Batting: Bangladesh
Runs Scored: 165/2 [50 Overs]
Extras: 0
Run Rate: 3.3
Required Runs: 256
Fall of Wickets:
1 91

To me, there is something very, very wrong with those numbers, especially when you consider England were 27-4 on Slogging, then scored at 9 an over on Watchful...

Indeed. I just played a test match at the WACA between Australia and Bangladesh, and at stumps on day 1 Australia were 8/816, before being bowled out for 918 in the 13th over of day two, with an innings run rate of 8.96. The aggression in this innings varied between opportunistic, normal and watchful.

edit: at stumps on day two Bangladesh were 1 for 1. They scored a single in the first over, then played out 42 consecutive wicketless maidens before one wicket fell, followed by 33 more wickeless maidens. They then collapsed on the third day to be all out for one by drinks in the afternoon session, having faced 122.2 overs in the process. Their innings run rate in comparison to Australia's 8.96 was 0.008. Bangladesh faired better in the second dig, slumping to 9 wickets down without scoring after 90 overs, they managed three singles in the final stand before being all out for 3 off 92.3 overs on the fourth afternoon, eventually losing by an innings and 914 runs.

Either there's something seriously wrong with the match engine or the programmers just don't like Bangladesh...

Not as impressive as Sean's effort, but anyway:

Decided not to enforce the follow-on, to get some more batting practise. Note that the WI second innings was played entirely in defensive mode.

I love the 746 run stand for the 7th wicket in the first innings. Apparently that Powell kid can bat a bit or something!

This is just a bit silly now.

Australia - 831/8d. (Declared in frustration after dramatic mid-order collapse.)
Bangladesh - 0/10
Australia - 2339/10
Bangladesh - 0/10

Australia win by 3171 runs.

Play as Australia against Bangladesh, and put the fielding aggression on defensive. It appears to be impossible for Bangladesh to score a run.

OMG!! ROFL!!
Well the match engine was alrite till two months ago when it was beta tested.
After that I've added some more features and messed up the match engine.
That explains all these weird results. :p I was so busy that I wasn't able to test
the game thoroughly but had to release it coz I was being bomberded with
email requests. Now I hardly get any time to modify the code but I'll do so whenever
I manage time. As I said, the game is still UNDER DEVELOPMENT!
All suggestions are welcome...Thanx to you guys/gals for all the feedback.
Keep em coming...

PS: I wonder why u all love Bangladesh so much :p

Hehe OK, looking forward to the final game. One other thing: if you win the toss, it reads '(Team X) won the toss. Make a decession...' It should read 'decision'. :)
