PS2 Game getting frozen bug

Whenever I am bowling, and someone hits me for a six at deep cover, my fielder catches it, but the umpire still gives it as a 6. Then straight after it, the game freezes.

Has anyone encountered this problem as well?

Thanks very much for any help.

A lot of the time for me someone catches it but it's given as a six because they're over the rope, but It never crashes.
