Aston Villa v Chelsea
Kick-off 1245
I expect this to be a hard-fought encounter.

Chelsea have had lots of players away on international duty and a combination of travel and games do take their toll.

Aston Villa can underline their status as a good Premiership team by taking a point off Chelsea.

Bolton v Man Utd
Manchester United have Roy Keane back and match-fit after his outing for the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday.

And despite Bolton's reasonable record against United over the last couple of seasons, Sir Alex Ferguson's team know they have got to win games like these if they are not to lose ground on the leaders even at this early stage of the season.

Fulham v Arsenal
Since Fulham's promotion to the Premiership, Arsenal seem to be able to beat them at will.

I think there might be a greater inconsistency factor about Fulham's play this season and I can see them finishing in the bottom half of the table.

Arsenal are playing as though last season never ended, scoring a frightening amount of goals.

Liverpool v West Brom

As organised and hard working as West Brom are, I reckon Liverpool will win this.

It will be a difficult game for Liverpool but they are slowly starting to click into gear.

People say that the Spanish players did not do very well at Bolton but that was their first game.

Many foreign players take the best part of a season to bed into their new clubs and when Nunez is fit, Liverpool will have him plus Luis Garcia, Xabi Alonso, Josemi and Djibril Cisse finding their way in the Premiership.

People cannot be too judgemental too soon.

Man City v Everton
City had a great win last time out at home, beating Charlton 4-1.

Kevin Keegan's side always make lots of chances at home but Everton look like they might have recaptured the doggedness that helped them so much the season before last.

They defended very well at Old Trafford and manager David Moyes is certain to have reminded his players about last season's embarrassing 5-1 defeat the last time Everton visited Man City.
