Because I am not good enough to be a successful international player, but like to think of myself as insightful enough to become a coach, and I am losing my hair.

Opener to face the first ball of the match.

Get in there straight away, and get rid of the nerves, also means you can bat longer then anybody else.
Beware the lollipop of mediocrity. Lick once and you suck forever...

    Bowling all-rounder who is:
    1. Specialist Leggie
    2. Can bowl seam-up medium bowling occasionally
    3. Lower order batter who can stay for long periods at crease, kinda like Giles or Warne but bit better .

Above summarises me in real-life somewhat. Just that I am not even u17 club level at either of em
India to be No.1 someday soon !! :)

It's my spot in club cricket, and I'm quite happy with it thank you very much. I'll take 1st slip too, thanks.

I'd be a wicket keeper who can bat anywhere or a specialist No. 3.

^because it's probably the most difficult position in the team. You can't let your guard down for a moment if you're a 'keeper.
I chose no.3 batsman, as it seems a versatile position - offering the opportunity to accumulate while also being a position where you can sometimes go for a slog.

I'd go for lightening fast bowler, with a super strong back and a gift for being totally injury free my whole career. I'd also like to be able to move it both ways off the seam and be able to let go of the occasion late swinging yorker.
I'd bowl in a cape, with a large "F" and a lightening bolt on the front of my shirt, just to rile the crowds! haha

Opener facing the new ball, a true challenge.

I'm not too dissimilar a batsman to Bradman.
Both of us have batting averages below 100.

A wicket-keeper who after hitting 5 consectutive 100's in FC Cricket and 3 in 4 OD innings I jumped onto the plane for Kenya and Zimbabwe as Geraint Jones(aged 35)'s back up but came into the team after injury for the Kenya first Teat hit 300* and won the match with 6* off 1 ball. I then played as captain for my 100th Test at 30(Tests coming quicker) and regained the Ashes for the 10th consecutive time. In the mean time I had 500 test catches,50 stumpings and hit 700* against Sri Lanka(42 year old Murrali 100-32-219-8:P) I hit 216 in a ODI but I had trouble with them with the bat but not with the gloves..took the catch of the century off Ashley Giles Jr.(400 test wickets) 1 handed dive infront of Silly point.

In the career I averaged 61 in FC with 1000 catches and 100 stumpings. OD Average 40, Test average 71 and ODI Average 40.
    Or something.

I'd solve SA's leg spinning problems overnight, and be a competent and stylish batsman, down the order, maybe at 7,8..
