From where does English County generate so much money??

How the hell are the able to play such hefty amount to the cricketers???

mainly a lot of advertising , donations , a lot of funds from cricket boards etc

Are these the same English counties that are losing money year on year, with a County Championship that is struggling like anything to get any sponsorship, and a National Game that's only bailed out by SKY and C4's money for the Tests and ODIs?
