It's pretty much the same with the 11s and 13s now, the danger with that kind of situation is the same people bowl and bat, the other 4/5 do nothing, get bored, don't come back again...

I meant isn't.

If with a top order player, he can stay in for an hour or more.

If with a lower player, he can play shots.

That has been the danger with all cricket up to about u16 for, oh, about 100 years.
The important thing is how the coaches handle that possibility.
The good coaches keep them all happy, the less good ones don't.
