Most of the players I named have far better records than Ganguly (a fact you claimed in the above quoted post)

no you didn't clearly show it is not. You named a lot of guys from England who averaged maybe 1 run more than Ganguly (and regarded as good test players)...thats far from clear. And yes, you did name Sachin, Lara and Ponting as well but I never claimed Ganguly was as good as them.
