Chanderpaul? His highest score is 140odd. Lara's crossed 200 more times than any other player bar Bradman.

IMO:

Australia: Hayden/Ponting/Gilchrist

NZ: Richardson
WI: Lara
SA: Kallis - by a mile
Pak: Inzy or Yousuf
Eng: Hard one. In his prime, Thorpe. Nowadays, Vaughan, maybe Flintoff.

Australia - The entire top 7 is just too good
India - The entire top 6 are danger's but more so Dravid, Tendulkar and Laxman
England - Vaughan, Trescothick, Thorpe, Flintoff
South Africa - Graeme Smith, Herschelle Gibbs, Jacques Kallis
Sri Lanka - Kumar Sangakkara, Sanath Jayasuriya
Pakistan - Inzamam, Youhana
West Indies - Brian Lara
Zimbabwe - Probably Mark Vermeulen (if playing), if not then Tatenda Taibu
New Zealand - Mark Richardson, Stephen Fleming

Doesn't naming entire top orders (or even two players) kinda defeat the purpose of the exercise?

For me:

Australia: Hayden
Pakistan: Inzamam
India: Dravid (Laxman vs Australia)
WI: Lara
SL: Jayasuriya
NZ: Fleming
SA: Kallis (was completely Kirsten before his retirement)
ENG: Thorpe

International Captain
Yeah your probably right, but out of Ponting, Hayden, Gilchrist and Martyn seriously who's the danger man?

They all are!

It was difficult for me to pinpoint just one individual from strong batting lineups.

I'll try again then,

Australia: Ponting
India: Tendulkar
WI: Lara
Pakistan: Inzamam
SL: Jayasuriya
NZ: Richardson
SA: Kallis
ENG: Thorpe
ZIM: Vermeulen

International 12th Man
in the past 10 years ,i believe that the three big guns, SRT, steve waugh, and BCL were the 3 most coveted wickets going around...

other than some in the aussie team, and perhaps dravid, i dont think anyone has such a big effect on the opposition

south africa jacques kallis, and in a few years time, jacques rudolph
india dravid and srt
pak inzy, and yousof,. althoug yasir hameed is doin really well and may soon well be the key
WI: BCL, gayle
bangladesh: bashar
new zealand: richardson
zim: currently, taibu
eng: vaughan or currently flintoff
SL: attapatu (if u dnt get him cheap, go catch him in triple figures)
