I suppose Hick's 405 was rubbish and a waste of time because the boundaries are a couple of metres shorter (don't forget they don't use a rope and use all the available grass)
Thing is, in the one-day game Blackwell's hardly been a success - an average of just over 26.
It's been no surprise at all to me that he's done so appallingly - he was only picked because a couple of his rare good performances came in televised matches. And because Dermot Reeve kept going-on about him to the selectors.
Thankfully, he's been dropped and hopefully we'll not see him again unless he actually makes some massive improvement.
Which Hick 405 was that, BTW?

It is silly to say that a batsman can't run on a ball that deflects ooff the pad, yet the bowlers can go up for a wicket.
