Come now tec, we know that their replacements are just as good as McGrath and Warne are!

We've been told that so many times by certain people! ;)

& didn't the same thing happen when IND beat them on their tour to AUS????

The indians just played the attack they were put up against. They may have done just as well against McGrath and Warne, given McGrath's uninspiring return and well we've never really had too many porblems with Warne.

Actually they weren't against England, but we can still accept that the main reason we won that game was that ther bowling attack was much weaker than usual...

Dead rubber as well, they probably had a few too many celebratory shrimps and VB's.

Gough's injuries were always obvious, Johnson hasn't ever had it on England duty.

Tudor happened to be feeling rough when the chips were down (on more than one occasion)
So are you a subscriber to Beefy's theroy that Tudor should go and spend some time in the Royal Marines to "toughen him up"?

At nothing else, he has bowled well v Australia (well he certainly was not the worst) and in particular Steve Waugh.

I'm a subscriber to the school of thought that Tudor ought to consider joining the Brownies to 'toughen him up'.
