All the best to those participating in the final.
In retrospect, I could have included more Malone and Dymock in the 11's. But it is what it is. Yallop, what a disappointment.

And it's the MCB Golden Boys which take out the ninth ICC Sim League tournament on the back of some breathtaking bowling from Big Bird. Huge thanks to everyone for participating in this, hope you all enjoyed watching it unfold.

Whatever it takes!!!
The Brothers in Law showed up for the big game and then the Big Bird just took off after that. Awesome. Congrats MCB.. That top 4 (5 including GV) is one of the best drafted ones I have ever seen. And well done to Terrifc Unnamed. And well played to all participants and big thanks to Jimmy. This was all kinds of awesome. Hope you have another sim tournament lined up to pass our lockdown days. :)

Jeez Garner was lethal. Talk about peaking at the right time.

I had honestly assumed I had badly shagged my draft, but it helps that the likes of Simpson and Gavaskar still proved very useful.

What I do have is the other idea I was flirting with before starting up this comp. After some examination of a few different versions of the game I have editors for, namely ICC '05, ICC '13 & CC '18, I am realistically able to provide accurate player pools for approximately 20 "emerging nations".

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Barbados, Canada, Guyana, Hong Kong, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Leeward Islands, Namibia, Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, Trinidad & Tobago, UAE, USA, Wales, Windward Islands, Zimbabwe could all be represented. There are also a few Bermuda & Nepal players floating around but not enough for a full team unfortunately.

Could be fun to do a group/knockout tournament for this similar to the Rugby/FIFA World Cup format, & people might enjoy managing their favourite minnow side/home country. Depending on interest I might start this up, would probably be the type of tournament that would necessitate some people running more than one side, but if anyone is interested in this idea let me know.
