So many names from yesteryear there. Clearly the Bangladeshi selectors have been speaking to Greg Chappell too much, I suspect at least a couple of these older batsman would have had a decent career had they actually been given a shot had they not been discarded permanently after not performing early on.

Haha Alok Kapali is a blast from the past. :D

Just checked, he's still only 35.

Crazy how many write-offs have been dominating with the bat recently at Bangladeshi domestic level. I get not going back to Nafees (but Kayes has really regressed in the last few years....), but Tushar should've been given another crack. Also thought Naeem Islam was hard done by (assuming I haven't got him confused with someone else)

EDIT: Yeah, confused him with Nasir Hossain somehow. Who probably should still be in the side unless he's gone dramatically backwards recently.

Tushar would have been good to watch, also to get some experience in this line-up with Shakib and Tamim gone. Mithun doesn't look up to snuff at all.

How has Sabbir Rahman only scored 440 odd FC domestic runs over 5 years? He's not exactly an international staple.

They pick him in squads a lot and then don't select him. Might have something to do with that. It did strike me as weird too though.

By the sounds of it he's very lucky to remain in the frame. Hardly like he has a stellar international record either.

he's definitely talented enough, but he should be playing more and warming the bench less

urgh Shami why. This India attack is just too good.

Shami has grown into such a phenomenal bowler. Seeing the match alive, one got a feeling those wickets were on the cards. Absolutely wonderful bowling.
