Yeah this total isn't big enough, makes more sense to just hit out especially given Patto and Cummins can bat.
Probably fair enough to not want to bowl twice though and this innings has been slow.

Agreed. Pakistan lost here after scoring 443. If they can apply themselves this NZ side has the ability to get a big total, and the slowness of the pitch should help them. Can't help but wonder if Head should have stuck around a few more minutes.

Wagner now has 198 wickets and is in his 46th test. Hadlee took 44 tests to reach 200. Boult took 52, Southee 56, Cairns 58.
