Yeah Kuggeleijn's been expensive at this level, but his batting keeps him in it. Still annoying though.

Yeah. NZ already has multiple good allrounders. His batting is actually not needed at all.

Yeah they rested him along with Stokes, Archer and IIRC a couple of the others who played both the Ashes and the WC.

Edit: yeah Buttler was the other one, and kind of Root but he's a 50/50 proposition for their T20 team anyway.

Yeah, the pre-Christmas tours tend to be late Nov/early December although I suppose NZ is often touring overseas at this time of year too.
