Is it just me or do others too find Naseem Shah's action resembling Lillee? Hope he enjoys his bowling without letting stats bogging him down.

You’d think Abbas and shaheen are definite starters. Just don’t know how Pakistan are going to call it - MI Khans form or Naseems potential. Thinking they’ll go the latter.

I was wondering who's action his resembles but I couldn't make the connection. But yes, i also feel his action resembles Lillee's a bit.
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

There is Shane Bond comparison but the difference is that Bond would raise his non bowling arm in the air like Ntini before delivering a ball and Naseem Shah doesn't.

If he ever said that, he would deserve at least a 5 match ban. For one its blatantly false.

I think many in cricket haven't fully realised how strict the new behavioural standards are. For example, if Warner was to get cited for dissent like Smith was in the Shield match because his SA points are still outstanding I reckon he'd miss a Test, possibly more.

    Soo

    Warner
    Burns
    Labuschange
    Smith
    Head
    Wade
    Paine
    Cummins
    Starc
    Lyon
    Hazlewood

Think I can go down with that. Not as happily as I would on my crush if a chance was offered but nevertheless it's ok. Still not convinced Burns as an opener but he is better than Bangers for sho

So happy Burns is finally given another chance. I'd rather Burns than 'whiteball' Warner actually.

Warner does well in WC, then crashes in Ashes and still wouldn't play in the tour games. Now does well in T20i and sits out the last shield game to be with family, even though the game was in his home town of Sydney anyway. Sounds like he couldn't be stuffed playing lesser games anymore, even though his red ball cricket sucks lately.

In the last 4 years Warner has averaged only 38.00 with 6 hundreds in 34 Tests. Burns has 3 hundreds in 12 Tests during same period, so Warner is not the batting god we're looking for.

Wagner's historically been a completely different batsman home as opposed to away. Never had an ordinary home Test summer whereas with the odd exception has been a liability outside Oz.

It is interesting how some T20 runs and patchy Shield form have made everybody completely forget his rotten Ashes series.

Not sure how anyone can forget the worst ever 5 match series as an opener in the history of the game

Not sure anyone has forgotten. We've just accepted at the very least the whole 'credits in the bank' meme put out by the selectors as being tolerable at the least given the sheer lack of other options.

Just think, Bancroft and Harris could be our openers in 12 months.

Warner’s fine. Be extremely silly to drop him at home, especially for the current lot.
