2019/20 New Zealand First-Class Season Draft (Division 2)

Sneaky quick Hazeldine.

I'll let you order your 12th-14th men for the way you want them entering the fray, if fit and available. Do this on your 14th pick.

How do injury subs work? Automatic, or do we need to declare a player injured? When a starting XI player is un-injured to they rejoin scoring XI automatically or do we declare them fit (thinking of an allrounder, e.g. Ellis returned last season as a bowler, but with injured left hand so batted at #11, so may not want back as a scoring XI player).

(edit - deleted question as pre-answered by Kippax)

straw man - NZ tailender - NZ tailender - straw man - vandem - div 1 to finish.

Some drafters just like to set and forget these over the summer, so automatic subbing may be the way to go. I'll use my discretion if someone comes into this thread and reports one like that Ellis one, or that Doug Bracewell's playing as a specialist batsman, that sort of thing.

Great idea!

Once is said and done could we pick 2 more dummy teams for the lols? Or is that too much work?
Yes I think I can get a lot of scores coming straight from the Div 1 sheet into the Div 2, so it's not too bad.

First pick for the Feral Cats (anyone can pick, I assume): Blundell (wk).

First pick for the Feral Goats: Jeets.

Oh I definitely think even the Feral Goats can do better than Bhula. I'd like to swap him out for a surefire lock for six or more Plunket games.
