His action and height give him so much room for error with his Yorker as well. Because he doesn't get a huge amount of bounce it means the patch of dirt he can land his Yorker on is much larger than most other bowlers.

It's probably part of the reason Cummins doesn't bowl many - his natural bounce turns more of his attempts into half volleys.

Which ultimately makes Garner even more of a freak for both getting bounce like he did and having that killer Yorker.

Yeah, good point - the ability to sling and swing, plus the low trajectory equals killer yorker.

Ross Taylor in particular must've wondered what the hell he did to deserve the ball he got. Even if you'd told him that was 100% the ball coming (which I expect he knew anyway) he was never going to hit it.
