Can Sky Sports consider a little about their pay to view cricket subscription system?

Cricket was never a more popular sport here than Soccer. But at least Cricket was moderately popular pre 2000 and again for one breif time in 2005. Being the 2nd best team based sport in UK was not a poor claims by english cricket back in those days. People used to care about the sport and some players were household names but now none of the players are known. Many fathers who used to watch cricket at young age sadly says hes son doesnt know about it. In the 1980s cricket was the only thing that was on tv during the day there were a handful of stations that were available during the day and suddenly this game was the one to watch after 14 years. And it did mean more that the country – the whole country – was able to savour it. Had this remarkable match, which not only went to the last ball, but actually beyond it, remained ghettoised on satellite television, the national water-cooler debate on Monday morning would have been about an epic men’s final at Wimbledon, or even Lewis Hamilton’s record triumph at Silverstone. As it is, the chat will be about Stokesy’s ticker, Jofra’s slower-ball bouncer and Jason’s pick-up-and-throw.

Now about sky tv subscription, sky pay a lot of money for the rights, it where all the money in cricket essentially comes from. They have bidding wars and it's always sky that come out on top as they are the richest.
In England that money is needed to fund the domestic cricket, from 1st class all the way down to village level. you are looking at nearly £30 quid a month for the full sky sports package, that's on top of the regular sky tv fee. Things are pretty expensive over here but most cricket fans will have at least the cricket channel but we lose the casual fans.

I think Sky should make 1 match per series a free to air. Advertisements of it will reduce the loss and either way other 2/4 matches will be paid nonetheless. It atleast will keep cricket going slightly. Its essential for the growth of the sports. If not, then cricket will not go outside of its already shortened audience in UK.

Some portion was copied but overall thats my view, i think for the betterment of cricket at least 1 match per series should be free to air.
