Probably doing a bit at Newlands. Early season and all the rain and now sun out with the moisture in the air.

Now the rain is back. Think it will be that sort of day. Clouds with rain threatening and then blue sunny skies.

I think SeamUp's point was only two black players. Usually they have Khomari and/or Mgijima to make up the numbers, but neither appear to be playing.

Better to ask forgiveness than permission? Assume Prince has not put his hat in for the SA coaching (or whatever its called) job.

Seriously this may be the time for the players and provincial structures to fight back against CSA who are pretty weak right now. Maybe try force the CSA onto a better path.

Nice van Tonder got his double. Truly think he needs to be the next cab off the rank. We know he is quality and shown (much like Hamza) that he can score big. Exactly what you want in your test players.

Although there aren't a lot of other candidates in the side. Frylinck possibly as the most senior player, but Ackerman has previous captaincy experience, so it's a decision that does make sense.

Been watching a fair bit of Provincial cricket of late, what’s the deal with Simon Khomari ? Looks to have a decent enough technique, almost classy at times, but his numbers really don’t stack up with the bat ? Is there still hope he can fulfil his promise in the future ?
