15. Andy Whittall

Requesting special dispensation to swap out Andy Whittall for Andy Blignaut, who debuted in ODIs in the match following the WC. I really don't think I need a fourth spinner.

Yeah, but up to the WC, Olonga had 8 wickets @ 40ish @ 6.8 an over in his career. Mbangwa was averaging 80ish, but went at 4s for the tournament, Olonga went at 6s.

I'm leaning heavily on Johnson, Streak and hopefully Eddo to take the poles, Pommie to bowl 6 dry-ish middle overs, Strang to dot them up, and Whittall/Flower to jam through a few at 5rpo.

Honestly I should probably play Andy Whittall or Dirk Viljoen over both of them and try to build dots with jammy spin. Might do that, actually.

In an ideal world, I would have gone on with the 1975 squad, because of Rohan B. Kanhai and a 23 year old Viv
