“Universally Challenged” Draft Idea

fredfertang

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Into the third round of a draft and no West Indian fast bowlers chosen - how rare is that?

So I'll change all that with the selection of a man who played 37 times in Tests, and took 85 wickets at 47.85

Daren Powell

Mind you he was better in Tests than he was for Lancashire where two seasons brought him seven wickets at 49.00 - not that I'm bitter

Bryce McGain in that case
Sorry about this, but the rules (10 Tests minimum) were clearly outlined in the opening post. Given Blair Hartland did play 9 Tests you might think he meets the spirit of this thread and I am being rather harsh by not allowing him, but at the end of the day I've got to set the bar somewhere. I have no intention of being a Nazi about this and if several people comment to say they think I have been too harsh, I can lower the bar to 8-9 Tests minimum and allow Hartland. Unless and until this happens, he will remain ineligible.

One test wonders like Bryce McGain are most definitely ineligible. This is not negotiable.

You are up again now.

I believe CK’s brother CS Nayudu played 11 tests and took 2 wickets in them at an average of 180. Leg spinner apparently.
