As great as Donald was, he wasn’t that effective against Australia who were the best players of pace bowling in that era. That does count against him.

Although one can argue he missed out on few prime years without fault of his own.
Not a single ATG fast bowler has a great record against that Australian side.

I have an inside tip that the reaction to the 1st person voting for Lee directly led to the 2nd person doing it
Three votes & counting. Luckily this is a slippy thread & means absolutely nothing.

But it doesn't surprise me that those who voted Lee > Donald are staying anonymous.

Lee was a prolific wicket taker to his credit. 23 four plus wicket hauls in just 217 innings. Leaked lot of run however. Very similar record to Waqar Younis.
