    I suppose it's close enough.
The truth, I think, is this: that since the triumph of what was called rationalism, we have successfully cultivated everything except reason - G.K. Chesterton

A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him saying, 'you are mad, you are not like us' - St. Anthony

I heard that instead of the coin toss this year they're doing the bat toss. Could be interesting, I think flats happens slightly more often so probably just call that.

Supposedly they have specially crafted bats that land 50/50 either side.

Are they cutting costs by not using coins?

With today's bats I'd call "edges"

    Some new captains this year.
Lynn for Heat, Maxwell for Stars and Wade for Hurricanes

Strikers lineup looking fairly well settled, may not see a great deal of Head throughout the season due to national duties but I think Matt Short is a handy addition, was striking it well in his limited Renegades appearances last season and can contribute useful offspin as well. Bowling attack has plenty of variety to it, Laughlin to change things up, Siddle brings experience and reliability, Billy Stanlake is quick and hostile and Rashid Khan is arguably the best T20 spinner going around

Thunder looks like they will fall away once Root and Buttler have to leave. Then we'll have the pleasure of Patterson striking at 95 through half an innings.

Brisbane have finally gotten rid of Gannon. It's been long enough.

Question is whether they've had any fielding practice this year.

My word; hasn't it been wonderful so far?
Marxists, however, are pretty much the only thinkers who accept no responsibility whatsoever for real-world approximations of their ideas. ... Only Marxism has the luxury of being judged purely as a set of ideas, which something as mundane as real-world experience could never blemish.
